Today is the last day of September, and with it comes the close of our post series on Mental Health to coincide with National Suicide Prevention Month. Tragically, in the last couple weeks alone, my husband and I have heard of two college students on a Missouri campus who committed suicide, and the college-aged son of a family friend attempted suicide.
While the month is coming to an end, those heartbreaking stories remind us that mental health issues will continue to surround us, and we must prepare ourselves and our ministry leaders to deal with them. We hope this series has helped to do that in some small way. We will continue to publish articles periodically on these topics as a resource to you. If you have specific questions or topics that you would like to see featured in one of our articles, please contact us.
